PRE-SELECT ACADEMY

Pre-Select Academy bridges the gap between recreational and competitive soccer, offering young players the chance to experience the excitement of elevated play. Through weekly training sessions led by licensed trainers and competitive games, this program helps families assess their readiness for the next level. With a focus on growth and enjoyment, players will build skills in a fun and challenging environment.



We strive to provide families with a clear and informative look at what competitive soccer entails—training intensity, financial commitments, and travel expectations. By creating a pathway to the next level, we prepare players for a smooth and confident transition into select soccer, setting the foundation for their future success on and off the field.

  • Overview

    • This supplemental program allows players to continue to play and train with their recreational teams while adding an additional weekly session led by licensed coaches.
    • Training sessions are designed to enhance fundamental skills, build confidence, and establish strong training habits.
    • Each player will receive a home and away jersey, perfect for practices and games.
    • Participants will compete in multiple friendly matches, providing valuable game experience in a supportive environment.
    • The program concludes with a tournament (KC), giving players an opportunity to showcase their growth and helping families assess whether select-level play is the right fit for their child’s soccer journey.

  • Format & Events

    • Once recreational teams are formed, tryouts will be held to identify players for the Pre-Select Academy Program.
    • Player selection will be based on physical attributes, mental maturity, and technical and tactical awareness.
    • Tournaments and brackets will be carefully chosen to match players' progression, challenging them to elevate their level of play.

  • Academy Coaches

    Coaches will follow a structured, age-appropriate training program designed to foster player development both on and off the field. This program is rooted in the US Youth Soccer’s recommended guidelines, ensuring that athletes progress at a pace suited to their developmental stage. By focusing on key technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components, our curriculum will provide players with the skills and mindset needed for long-term success in soccer and beyond. Each training session will be tailored to the unique needs of each age group, fostering growth, confidence, and a passion for the game.
